Are BYD's exported Dolphin and Yuan Plus EVs affected by the recall for fire risks?

BYD's recall of nearly 100,000 Dolphin and Yuan Plus models (also known as the Atto 3 in overseas markets) focuses primarily on models sold in China. The issue involves a faulty steering control unit, which could cause a short circuit and pose a potential fire risk. This applies to vehicles produced between the end of 2022 and 2023. As for the export versions of the Yuan Plus (Law 3), there is no indication yet that the vehicles are affected by this recall. The recall appears to be limited to models sold in China.
