Coco Gauff's assertion that she's "hard to beat" stems from her unwavering self-belief and recent on-court successes. After defeating Iga Swiatek 6-4, 6-4 in the United Cup final, Gauff stated, "I have the belief that I’m one of the best players in the world and when I play good tennis I’m hard to beat."

This confidence is bolstered by her rigorous training regimen, emphasizing core strength and endurance. Gauff has been holding planks for three to four minutes since she was ten, a practice she credits for her stamina and resilience on the court.

Her recent performances reflect this confidence and preparation. Gauff has won 17 of her last 20 matches, including a victory over Swiatek in the United Cup final, contributing to Team USA's title win.

In summary, Gauff's belief in her formidability is supported by her self-assurance, dedicated training, and consistent match victories.
