In Squid Game Season 2, the deadly games return with new challenges designed to intensify the stakes and expand the series' chilling narrative. Two major new games were revealed in the recently released trailer.

1. Spinning Carousel: Players must navigate a rotating platform, adding an element of physical challenge and disorientation.

2. X and O Game: This game has players choose sides on the floor marked with "X" and "O," which likely leads to high-stakes consequences depending on their choice.

The iconic Red Light, Green Light also returns, showcasing the giant robotic doll from Season 1 in a familiar yet terrifying environment. Additionally, Seong Gi-Hun (Player 456) reenters the competition with the intention of dismantling the organization behind the games, bringing a personal and rebellious angle to the season's narrative.

Season 2 premiered on December 26, 2024, and early previews highlight its darker tone, focusing on Gi-Hun's leadership and the moral dilemmas players face under extreme pressure. Fans have expressed excitement for these new games, which build on the creativity and suspense of the original series.
