Village story

Once upon a time, in a small, decrepit village shrouded in perpetual fog, there stood an old, abandoned mansion on the outskirts. The villagers spoke in hushed tones of the mansion's dark past—of the family that had vanished mysteriously one stormy night.

The new owners, a curious family unaware of the mansion's history, moved in, hoping for a fresh start. As night fell, eerie noises echoed through the halls—whispers, creaking floors, and distant cries. The youngest child, Emily, claimed to see shadowy figures lurking in the corners, but her parents dismissed it as nightmares.

One stormy evening, the family gathered in the living room when suddenly, the lights flickered and went out. A chilling wind swept through the house, slamming doors and rattling windows. The whispers grew louder, turning into sinister laughter. The parents frantically searched for Emily, only to find her standing in front of a mirror, eyes vacant, murmuring in a voice not her own.

In a final, desperate attempt to escape, they ran towards the front door, but it slammed shut, trapping them inside. The mansion groaned, as if alive, its walls closing in. The villagers claimed to hear the family's screams that night, but no one dared to investigate. The mansion stood silent the next morning, appearing as it always had—ominous and abandoned, waiting for its next victims.
