What would happen if Iron Man didn’t snap and Thanos won?

If Iron Man hadn’t snapped and Thanos won in Avengers: Endgame, the consequences would be catastrophic for the universe. Here's a breakdown of what might happen:

1. Thanos' Final Plan: Thanos would successfully use the Infinity Stones to erase not just half of all life, but potentially all life, to create a "new" universe according to his twisted vision of balance. He had stated that after the snap, he would destroy the current universe and create one that didn’t remember what had come before.

2. Avengers Defeated: The Avengers, or at least those left, would likely either be killed or rendered powerless. Thanos had already shown his ability to outmatch most of them. Without Iron Man’s snap, none of the heroes would have the strength or resources to challenge him again.

3. New Cosmic Order: With Thanos reigning supreme, the entire universe would be reshaped under his control. He would act as an all-powerful tyrant, imposing his own version of peace, which is essentially mass extinction and rebuilding according to his will.

4. Permanent Losses: Unlike in the previous snap, where the fallen heroes were brought back, this new universe created by Thanos would likely have no return for the lost lives. Everyone who had vanished, including beloved characters like Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Doctor Strange, would remain dead, as would the heroes that died directly fighting Thanos.

5. Dark Future: The remaining survivors, such as Captain America and Thor, would either have to live in a universe where Thanos controls everything or would have died trying to stop him. Earth and other planets would fall under Thanos' rule or simply be wiped out.

In this scenario, the universe would be fundamentally altered, and there would likely be no further resistance strong enough to overthrow Thanos, making his victory absolute and devastating.
